Following updated Government guidance, car dealerships in the UK have been given clearance to offer click and collect services.

Given this clarity, we are delighted to now offer a Click & Collect service at Ideal Commercials. Whilst we are not able to fully welcome you back just yet, this move allows us to start moving forward and we very much look forward to welcoming customers collecting their vehicles from us.

Throughout lockdown, we have been putting in measures to ensure the safety of both you, our customers and our staff. We have increased the rate of cleaning and sanitising vehicles and premises and we have also invested in a new sales cabin from which we can ensure our team our properly social distanced.

This care is extended to our collection process where your vehicle will be fully sanitised before you collect and all paperwork will be conducted according to social distancing measures.

How Does Click & Collect Work?

Using our new click and collect service is simple.

Simply reserve your chosen vehicle for a fully refundable £250 fee on our website. This reservation secures your vehicle. Next, arrange a date and time to collect your vehicle. Booking a collection time with us is important so we can prepare for your arrival safely.

Finally, the collection. This is the moment that you finally get the keys to your vehicle. At this point we'll take care of any remaining payments and paperwork, ensuring you're ready for the road ahead. It's as simple as that.

These are unusual times for us all and we want to reassure you that the health and well being of both our customers and staff are of paramount importance at all times. Below we've tried to answer as many questions as possible, however, if you have a query which isn't answered by one of the questions below, please don't hesitate to get in contact. 01730 606 867.

⊕ Will the handover be safe?

Yes. Our team will be wearing personal protective equipment for both the safety of you and other team members.

We will only allow one person per handover at a time. Government guidance on social distancing will be strictly abided by at all times. It is important that you make an appointment beforehand so that we can prepare for your arrival. No members of staff will be in the vehicle with you at any time.

⊕ I'm unwell or self-isolating. Can I still collect?

If you are self-isolating or in an at-risk group, we regret to advise that you will be unable to come and collect your vehicle. This also applies if you are unwell or are displaying any known symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.

If you are unable to collect for this reason, do not worry. Rest assured we will hold your vehicle for when you've fully recovered and the subsequent 14 day quarantine period has passed. Your collection will be rescheduled.

If you become ill after reserving, please speak to us. The safety of you and our team is our top priority at all times.

⊕ Can I add products such as a warranty?

Yes, you can. If you want to add products to your order, please call our sales team who will be more than happy to help and talk you through your options.

⊕ How much is the reservation fee?

The reservation fee is £250, which is fully refundable in the event you change your mind.

⊕ What happens if I change my mind about the vehicle?

If you are unhappy for whatever the reason, we will refund your £250 reservation fee, no quibble.

⊕ Is the reservation fee used as part of my deposit?

Yes, if you decide to proceed with your purchase we will use your £250 reservation fee as part of your deposit.

⊕ Are my card details safe?

Yes, your card details are processed via industry-standard encryption using our trusted providers.

⊕ What cards do you accept?

We accept most major cards including Visa and MasterCard. The initial deposit can be paid over the telephone or via our reserve option against each vehicle on our website.
